an urban retail development in the heart of downtown Long Beach, CA,
covers eight city blocks and is bound by Third Street to the south,
Sixth Street to the north, Pine Avenue to the west and Elm Avenue to the
east. CityPlace is the former site of Long Beach Plaza, an enclosed mall
which formerly occupied most of the site, but has since been demolished.
The city street grid will be reintroduced by reopening Fourth and Fifth
streets through the project. At several locations, street-level retail
will be constructed below residential units.
